Medina Restaurant

This Restaurant is located amidships and has two entrances. One via a sweeping staircase from Promenade Deck, the other Port forward of the Restaurant. The Restaurant’s décor has a Moorish flavour, which is introduced by the tile features lining the walls and the large tent like umbrella features ling the ceiling. As can be seen via the photographs below along the sides of the restaurant there are magnificent stained glass features and superb drapes. Seating is for two, four six and a few tables for eight. The grand piano is located mid to port of the room, and plays upon entry at dinner.

Alexandra Restaurant and  Chocoholics

The Egypt inspired Alexandria Restaurant is aft of the ship, thus being surrounded on three sides by full length windows, giving a magnificent view of the ocean. Again this room has two entrances, one by a short staircase, the other being a level one. This restaurant is far more contemporary as the photographs will reveal. The Egyptian flavour comes from a series of paintings of the pyramids and other Egyptian scenes. At the entrance is the Grand Piano and a statue of two Ibis.

Regularly throughout the cruise, various buffet lunches are featured in the Alexandra Restaurant, offering Indian, Seafood and other specialities. However, one of the most popular events is always the Chocoholics afternoon tea.
