Cabin D197 - Deck 8

A well designed and functional cabin

D197 is located on the starboard side of the ship, just forward of Tiffany’s Lounge Bar at the top level of the Atrium. For the author, this cabin was perfectly located; however, this is purely a personal preference.

Cabin Description - inside/outside twin - double.

All these cabins have two lower beds, which are convertible to king-sized bed. The bathroom is well designed (although compact) with a shower and WC and has a hairdryer. There is heaps of storage space for all your needs, even for our 42 day voyage. There are three single wardrobes and masses of drawer space. Two seater sofa and coffee table made an ideal corner for breakfast in the cabin, room service or having a self made cup of coffee. The vanity table/writing desk was small, but standard size, as on most ships. Satellite and ships TV offered masses of movies, documentaries, port lectures as recorded in the cinema. Two channels were available to follow the ships progress and a bow camera gave a magnificent forward view. The refrigerator is located directly below the TV. Inside the wardrobe is a safe. Each cabin has a direct dial satellite telephone. Outside cabins have a large picture window, whilst several forward cabins on a lower deck have two portholes). Inside cabins have a large mirror in place of a window. Some twin cabins are available as singles.

Other Accommodations

Images provided by Carnival PLC

Cabins range from economical inside twin and four berth cabins, outside twin cabins, to twin balcony cabins and staterooms. Top of the list are mini suites and the deluxe suites. No matter the accommodation of choice, all have the very best facilities possible to make a cruise or a world cruise comfortable! All twin cabins can be made up with a Queen size bed.
